The challenge

The Pasqual Maragall Foundation is an organisation dedicated to research into the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease. For this research, his research institute, the Barcelona Beta Brain Research Center (BBRC), needs to collect information from patients, which, until now, has been done on paper, with the risk that this implies.

Objectives

There is a need to digitise the process of collecting information through forms that patients have to fill out in a way that makes it easier and more agile.

Results provided

The BrainNet app allows you to set local reminders in a personalised way for not forgetting appointments, answering forms, etc.

Digital forms streamline the process of collecting information and enable data mining.

As a side effect, there is a reduction in paper waste.
